Our Spiritual Guide speaks about us on the occassion of the Silver Jubilee of our classes

KENNEDY’S CLASSES, run by Kennedy, Cleopes, Castern and Sunil Gonsalves and their devoted and dedicated spouses, started in germinal form more than 50 years ago, when the grand-father of the present Gonsalves clan, Mr. Vincent Gonsalves, used to coach students in Hindi and Marathi. His son, Domnic, father of the four pillars, followed suit, coaching a few children in his home. This seed blossomed into a mighty oak which now shelters many children varying from Stds. V to XII.

It is an inspiring story of vision, vigilance, courage, enterprise, endurance, perseverance, grit and determination, devotion and dedication, hard work and discipline, brotherhood and collaboration, love and care — and faith and trust in God, Who makes all things possible. Without these ingredients and sterling qualities, it would never be possible, year after year, to prepare so many children painstakingly for Stds. X and XII with 100% success!

Kennedy’s Classes are different from most other classes because of the genuine care and concern for each child, making studying facilities available for the needy and the backward, so that each one’s potentiality becomes actuality. It is a child-centred, family atmosphere that prevails, so it is not surprising that, years after having passed off, the ties between the institution and their students endure as a permanent bond.

Once, a King decided to honour the greatest person in his kingdom. He appointed a committee to find the right candidate. Five people finally figured in the merit list. A spokesman told the royal court that the first nominee had risen from utter poverty to become the richest and biggest philanthropist of the country. The second was credited with the agricultural revolution making theirs a land flowing with milk and honey. The third was the brain behind the industrial revolution making their nation one of the most modern in the world. The fourth was a man with a magic, healing touch which brought new life to countless. All four seemed favourites for the honour.

The whole court fell silent in wonder as the spokesman presented the fifth candidate – a frail, elderly woman. Her eyes exuded warmth and wisdom. “And what do you have to say about this lady?” asked the perplexed King. “Your Majesty”, replied the spokesman, “we have presented to you four candidates. This lady here is their teacher!” A spontaneous applause rang out in the court. The King declared that the teacher was the greatest!!!

Hundreds of students will have passed out from “KENNEDY’S CLASSES”. Doubtless, some of them might become great and famous people. Let them not however, forget that their teachers of KENNEDY’S CLASSES were the greatest!

I wish KENNEDY’S CLASSES God’s blessings superabundantly. May silver turn to gold. I end with an old Irish blessing: “May the road rise up to meet you; may the sun shine warm on your face; may the wind always be on your side, and, in the years to come, my friends, may God hold you in the palm of His hands!”

Kennedy’s Classes is one of the most reputed educational institute of our locality. The knowledgeable and helpful teachers of this classes have helped me to reach the top. I would surely take this opportunity to thank Kennedy Sir for his due support and inspiration. The regular tests conducted here gave me confidence to appear for the SSC Board Exams without fear. It was a difficult choice … because most of my friends were going to classes which had great name and fame. But in Kennedy’s Classes, I found the perfect answer to my search. When I first came here, I was a little worried as I was in private tutorials and had no experience about classes. It was my mother who forced me to join the same. Today I feel that she had taken the right decision. I was nervous initially when I started, but soon I found that I was very comfortable here with the teachers and staff. The teachers and the staff here are friendly, disciplined and take every effort to help the students to do their best. Honestly there is nothing more that a student and a parent can ask from Kennedy’s Classes. All the teachers were very co-operative here and ready to solve the difficulties whenever we students approached them. The teachers here motivate the students and make the learning process interesting and tension- free. The overall atmosphere in the classes is also very healthy and conducive for learning. And unlike what others told me, I had to make no compromises. It was all as perfect as I wanted it to be and due to which I passed out with flying colours. Thank you, Kennedy’s Classes! You have been a true guide, a true mentor. I recommend others to choose Kennedy’s Classes in order to gain true knowledge and not just important questions which can be mugged up during the examination in order to pass with flying colours.
